Get ready for a Hoe-Down!

with
Wild Willy Barrett's
Barn Dance Bad Boys
Featuring Wild Willy Barrett, John Devine, Mary Holland
and Pete Waters. Together with their caller, Sue Malleson,
these 'reprobates' provide an evening of diverse musical
entertainment and dancing not to be missed!

The Bad Boys are not what you might expect to find at your average 'ceilidh' - in fact 'beer dance', rather than
'barn dance', is Willy's preferred terminology. An evening of fun and social dancing is what's on offer and no
experience is expected or required for anyone to take part in the proceedings.
The repertoire includes rough and ready American 'mountain' music, Pogues' style Irish songs, traditional jigs,
reels etc. and a few good old fashioned London 'singalongs'.

For the uninitiated barn dancers amongst you, caller Sue Malleson, will ensure that your feet remain intact by the
end of the evening! Sue's been instructing dancers at social events for the past 35 years at barn dances and Folk
Camps and has now been persuaded to bring order to the dance floor at Barrett's Barn Dance Bad Boys' gigs.
Knees up Mother Brown!!!

Alternatively, if dancing is not your bag, we can provide an entertaining
evening mix of American mountain music, cajun and Pogues' style
Irish stuff - dance free!
The best description of our music is simply
great fun!
